EAX20 Wifi Extender loses internet connectivity daily

Hello, I have a EAX20 Wifi Extender connecting to an ISP supplied router. Approximately every day the devices connected to it are still on the extender network but lose all internet connectivity. Once the extender is rebooted the problem resolves. This happens so regularly that is seems like it could be something to do with the DCHP leases from the router. The EAX20 wifi extender is on the latest firmware (V1.0.1.64_1.0.104) and has a strong signal to the router. Has anyone else come across this issue?

    What actual router is it connected to? 

    did you setup the extender using wps, using the app, or using the installation assistant?

      Hi, thanks for the reply.

       

      I set the EAX20 up using the web interface http://mywifiext.local/.

       

      It turns out the EAX20 was connecting to a Netgear Orbi RBS350 mesh satellite (which I don't control). I now have the EAX20 connecting to the main router instead which is an ISP branded model based off the Arcadyan VRV9517 and it seems to have fixed the issue.
