EAX80 - Guest WiFi?
I've never had the need before, but I now need to setup a Guest network for visitors.
I am using the EAX80 in Access Point mode, with the WiFi on my new Fritz!Box router turned off.
I can't for the life of me find any menu item in the EAX80 web pages to let me setup a guest network...
Anyone done this? Is there a hidden menu item somewhere? Thanks for any help/advice 🙂

The EAX80 does not support it's own Guest Network.
The manual does not mention creating a "Guest" WiFi. However, if the EAX80 is defined with a WiFi SSID different from the primary WiFi system, guests could connect to that SSID and you will not have to reveal the primary WiFi password to them.
Unlike many "guest" situations, this method will not separate guest user devices from the primary network.

Of course, it does!
It's a dedicated Wi-Fi Wireless SSID, look -> Setting up Wi-Fi guest access in the FRITZ!Box on the example of a 7590.

A FRITZ!Box does not use or expose a configurable VLAN ID for its internal guest network; instead, it handles guest isolation internally and maps the guest profile physically to LAN 4
The FRITZ!Box Guest network exists either only as a wireless SSID (what does not help in case you have WiFi disabled on your Fritz), or on a dedicted Ethernet LAN port (LAN #4) if configured accordingly -> Setting up Wi-Fi guest access in the FRITZ!BoxCrux is no FRITZ!Box does not support VLAN tags as per IEEE 802.1Q
With the help of eg. a Netgear Plus or Smart Managed switch, you should be technically able to bring your main LAN ([U]ntagged plus the Guest LAN ([T]agged to a dedicated VLAN onto the same network.
Before explaining all this: The Netgear EAX80 (and typical consumer Nighthawk hardware) does not support custom 802.1Q VLAN tagging on its Ethernet or wireless interfaces when running in Access Point mode. So you might have to use a slightly more capoable Wireless Access Point for this purpose -> https://www.netgear.com/business/wifi/access-points/ - by rule ot humb, almost all of these are supporting multiple SSIDs, and are supporting opitonally a tagged VLAN for a specific SSID.
