Ethernet name changed while installing my Netgear Repeater AC750 EX3110
Hi! While installing and setting up my Repeater I discovered after having comitted the installation that my cable connection to WAN via my ASUS router changed from just Ethernet (connected) to a subname including my wireless net name +" _5GEXT"- Why? and HOW?
I would like to edit that but how?

Your ethernet name on your computer changed?
That'd be a function of windows network profile. If that's what you're meaning. If not, a bit more details on whats going on might help

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the WiFi Extender products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with WiFi Extender products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.
