what are the leds on it doing? (color/blinking/etc) all of them.
Are you setting it up using wps?
Is it broadcasting the default netgear_ext address?
are you able to connect to that?

The extender is working fine with all lights working, no blinking.
I have held in the factory reset to clear it and now just two greens solid.
It is detected as Netgear_EXT.
Seems Netgear won't secure their My wifi Ext page and cannot access that one to log in to reset passwords and put in the new ISP and login.
Multiple browsers gave warnings that the page is down till Netgear sorts their sh*t out
I've even tried using the Netgear Genie but all that does is show it is on the network map but no access avail

1. when its in the netgear_ext its not supposed to be secured. otherwise, how would you set it up? Its designed to be open to connect to and go through setup.
2. When its in factory state, its not connected to the internet. there's no connection back to netgear or anything else. So there isn't anything to "sort out".
3. Usually when you get errors like you're getting, its related to a browser or PC issue. Did you try a different web browser or PC? Make sure any vpn's, private macs, private IP address, or relay services are disabled.

Have a look at the photo I have provided of a screenshot, 4 browsers, Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Brave.
All show the same answer when trying to go to the My Wifi EXt website to log into the extender.
I have tried straight out logging into it and it does not allow as it needs to go to the previous mentioned website to do everything and Netgear does not have a secure connection to that page.
No I do not use a VPN or private network or relay services and it is Windows, so no Mac address.
Even before it was in its factory state, I was unable to get to the website that gives me access to the extender to make any changes. That is why I tried the factory reset, hoping it might be easier to re-do the initial setup.
Humour me and try going to the same website so you can see for yourself.
If you are not logged into the said extender, the website says unavailable
The only reason I got to open the Edit IP settings was I was quick on hitting properties after the attempt to connect to the EX3110 failed and my wifi was trying to default back to my current ISP. That editing just hung till I got sick of it (5 mins or so) and hit cancel.
So to re-iterate, does anyone have a genuine answer that explains how to enable to log in, rather than giving answers that is troubleshooting (which I have done)?
