I think you need to stop treating people like they are stupid.
Don't you think i have tried that?
I appreciate your trying to solve this issue.
I'm starting to form the opinion that this community and Netgear site is becoming such a disappointment for anyone, that you are the only one left offering suggestions
www my wifi ext net uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT
www my wifi ext net normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Chrome tried to connect to www my wifi ext net this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be www my wifi ext net or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.
You cannot visit www my wifi ext net right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

Here is the answer that I get when clicking Advanced. I seem to remember very early in this string of mentioning Netgear needs to sort their sh*t out. To which you replied, there is nothing that needs sorting.
So if you have any working ideas how to fix this issue, I'd really like to know.
BTW, I tried Netgear support, which because my extender is old, I have to buy a support request, which is 1.5 times more expensive than buying a new extender. Go figure
