EX 3700 extender 2 g band no longer working
My 2 Ghz band no longer works (connected no internet) I have tried to factory reset through the setup; AND STILL NOTHING - NOT sure what to do besides trash it an buy some other extender. Thanks,...
What firmware is on it?
What router are you connecting it to?
did you set it up using the wps push button method of setup?
Firmware: V1.0.0.96_1.0.62 Recently updated
It is an xfinity router-
I have set it up using the online setup (genie). I haven't used the WPS method ever.

What xfinity router is it?
Are you using any special characters or spaces in the ssid/password? If so, try removing them.
You can also try using WPS. I'm a fan of the installation assistant but sometimes wps works well
Xfinity device Technicolor CGM4140COM | Model number: CGM4140COM it is black and a slanted top side with a WPS button (lower left) and a light in the lower right corner.
No special characters in the SSID or password....
I did try to use the WPS option.... and it didn't seem to do anything different. Still no 2g band...
