ex2700 & D6220

I have an old Netgear Router a D6220 and was trying to extend the wifi, however I can't get the two to talk to each other? Help

    1. What firmware is on the extender?

    2. Firmware on the router?

    3. What have you tried doing? just saying it doesn't work doesn't tell us a thing.

    4. did you try setup via wps, using the installation assistant? 

     

    you can go to netgear.com/support/ and type in your model number. it'll take you to troubleshooting, firmware, manuals, etc.  Its very helpful for setting up new devices.
