2 things.
you set it up using the push button WPS option.
Factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.

other thing 2. 2.4ghz is a sensitive band. sometimes you have to change to a different channel if theres interference.

I have already factory reset the extender and it didn't change anything. I never had this problem with the previous router

What router did you add?
Are you using mixed wpa2/wpa3 mode on the new router?
where does it fail in the install process?
