EX2700 same password as router but rejects "incorrect password"

Windows 10 Router / Modem Big Blu net via satellite - same password on extender as router BUT rejects "incorrect password"

    did you set it up via wps? 

    If so, factory reset it and run setup using the installation wizard. 

    Wps isn't coded the same between different manufacturers and so when it doesn't work, that's when you use the installation wizard.
