As we are in lockdown and it is my sons bedroom that is affected, I bought a EX27200 extender, plugged in, set up and all seemed ok. After a couple of hours all wifi connectivity was lost upstairs, both with and without the extender. We now have intemittent wifi, literally only lasting up to a minute at a time if we can get it at all upstairs. I have tried rebooting the router and factory resetting the extender. I also tried updating the firmware but couldn't establish what the latest version available acutally is.
My router uses 2.4ghz and 5ghz, have I bought the wrong extender?
Can anyone help please? Thanks
so the wifi doesn't work even if the extender is unplugged?
