Is the C7800 broadcasting 2.4ghz signal?
Have you rebooted or reset the router?
Any other devices having issues connecting to the router?

running both 2.4 and 5ghz, using WPA2-psk[AES] with no other issues at all for any other devices. just the extenders.
the extenders can see it, but can't connect to it. same passphrase, i've quadruple checked it, during the many factory resets. and access control is disabled, so it's not a blocked MAC address or anything like that.. in fact, there are no devices blocked in the router.

it's currently set at "up to 1000Mbps"
I'm curious why this would make a difference though.. I bought these extenders around a year and a half ago, they worked flawlessly at our last house for almost a year, and worked with no issues at our current house since february, then suddenly they both stop working at the same time with no manual changes to any software or hardware.

Did you try setting them down for pairing?
I've had to do it with an IoT device before to get it working. Once it connected i was able to set it back up
