EX2700 will not accept my password to router. Can someone please help, i am not techno savy

It will not accept my password. Yes I have typed it in many times

    What won't accept the password? 
    logging into the extender?

    connecting to the wireless? 

    What router are you connecting it to? 

    Firmware on the extender?

    What method of setup did you use? WPS or the installation assistant? 

    Details help.

    I don't think the problem is with the router, maybe it's because of the repeating character error you accidentally made while setting the password, it's hard to confuse the routers and the character error when entering the password many times.
