I just changed internet service provider and cant get the wifi extender to work with the new provider. no problems with previous provider. tryed to connect with WPS but router light on extender just flashes

have you factory reset the extender? Push and hold reset while the device is powered on? the lights should change/blink when held long enough.
have you tried setting up via the netgear smart connect wizard and not via WPS? maybe whoever makes the router didn't implement wps correctly. The support site has install guides showing this as well as videos with the smart connect walk though.
