ex2700

I have an ex2700 N300 wifi extender which, as advised in the "Quick Start" guide, I have connected to an existing network. The signal is strong and is working well.

However, the extended network is marked "open" whereas the underlying network is "secure."

Anyone know how to make the extended network secure, please?

If so, answers in none technical language please!

    Did you set it up via wps (push button method)? 

    If so, try setting up using the installation wizard. reason why is not all device manufacturers code wps the same and it can create issues. its the reason for the installation wizard.
