Ex3110 wifi extender not working

Our wifi extender just quit workimg. Its only 5 months old, we have tried re setting the entire wifi system, but the extender will not respond. All the extender does is the power LED indicator blinks red. It will not reset. Any suggestions?

the powerlight blinking tends to indicate a corrupt firmware or boot issue. Sadly the EX3110 doesn't have an ethernet port to do a tftp recovery on.

You can try a 30/30/30 reset. Thats:

hold reset for 30 seconds while powered on.

power it off for 30 seconds while still holding reset.

power it on for 30 seconds while still holding reset.

if that doesn't work, I'd open a support/rma case with netgear.

click "mynetgear" at the top. register an account and the device. From there you can start the rma process.
