the wifi network name isnt showing. What can i do to fix this? It has been connected to the router fine and the wps is working properly
Have you tried installing it using the installation assistant and not WPS?
Try factory resetting it and installing it with the assistant
See if you didn't uncheck disable SSID broadcast see pages 18-19 of the manual : https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/EX3110/EX3110_UM_EN.pdf
That option should be checked SSID broadcast. Navigate to mywifi[DOT]net to get into the configuration page of yoru extender.
