EX3700-100PES MAC & Virtual MAC
Hi,
I have purchased a EX3700-100PES but I'm confused about the MAC's in use.
On the box (and on the device) there is ONLY one MAC specified, but which MAC is that ? LAN / Link-WIFI / WIFI-EXT-2G / WIFI-EXT-5G ?
I also see MAC's and Virtual MAC's in the Web-interface for WIFI-EXT (2G and 5G).
I don't see any MAC for the LAN-port
In my router I see again another MAC as being connected to the router.
When a device is connected to the LAN-port, I also see in the Web-Interface the MAC of that device, but again, there is also a virtual MAC specified
So would it please be possible to give an overview (with some example numbers) of all MAC's and Virtual MAC's in use by the EX3700-100PES for the
- LAN-port
- WIFI-Link (2G and 5G)
- WIFI-EXT (2G AND 5G)
- Connected devices
- ............
For what are all those Virtual MAC's used ?
I'm struggling with it because my router should give predefined IP-addresses based upon the MAC's of the EX3700-100PES and of the connected devices.

I also have a configuration question : is it normal that the initial setup could not been done through the LAN-port (from a Windows10 Browser)
Thank you for helping me out

Hi Darwin4Ever, the links below may help out.

You can setup the extender by connecting a computer to the Ethernet port and go through the setup like you normally would. Just make sure that the computer is not connected to another wireless network if it is also WiFi capable.
