EX3700 Can't reset

Got extender, used lower case letter of my router password instead of upper case.  Can't sign on.  Can't fix.  Can't reset. The thing won't reset.  It looks like it will,goes through the amber color change, but nope, takes me to a page that doesn't help.  Should I just send it back or is there a way to reset it so I can put correct password in?

    When you're holding reset, are you doing it for up to 30 seconds?

    I'd also try hardwiring into it with a laptop/pc to do the setup. Just make sure to turn off the wifi of whatever device you connect to it so the connection doesn't default back ot the wireless.
