EX3700 Connecting Issue
Hi, I am trying to set-up the SX3700 (AC750) through WEP. I get the blinking light on the extender and then go to my router (Motorola AC1900, Model MG7550) and press the WEP key. The extender blin...
plemans I was able to get it to work but not on my PC. I connected to the Netgear website from my TV and it brought up the website and I was able to get 2.4 and 5.0 on to the router. All is good but there is still a problem with not being able to connect to https://www.mywifiext.com/.
EX3700
I was able to connect via hard wired to the EX3700. It only allowed me to do one connection but it is a dual band unit. I tried again to go to my wifiext .net (it won't allow me to put that in link format) but it won't allow me to connect to set-up screen. Any idea how I can set-up the 5G portion of this unit?
What router are you connecting to?
What firmware is on it?
have you factory reset it before trying the reinstall?

where is it failing in the process? I have 2.4 set-up and have access to the web but it is not password protected. I also want to set-up 5.0 but I cannot access the Netgear website (see post above) to be able to walk through the set-up.
The issue would probably be solved if I could access https://www.mywifiext.com/
Log into the router and look at its attached devices (or equivelent for motorola) list. The extender should be listed with an IP address. Use that to connect to the extender.
Or simply factory reset it again and redo the install hardwired. It should let you setup both bands during the manual setup process.
