Ex3700 tire of nothing workingas it should

Im really getting tired of getting these wifi extenders that seem like they connect to the wifi router but dont actually connect. Im to the point now that i dont care if it is new or used if some one could set it up to something to make sure it will work before i get it.

    Did you set it up using the push button WPS option? 

    If so, factory reset the extender  and set it up using the installation assistant.

    To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
