I am attempting to connect my Netgear EX6100 Extender to my
NETGEAR Nighthawk Smart WiFi Router (R6700) - AC1750.
I have followed the instructions for the installation assistant:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJVklshxBMk
I opened the Network connection manager (0:20 on the video).
I do not see a network called "NETGEAR_EXT."
I do see a network called "EX6100_NETGEAR_2GEXT."
I seem to be able to connect to that network, but when I go to mywifi ext.net
I get this message:
"You are not connected to your extender's WiFi network."
Your assistance will be most appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

Have you tried setting it up before? That isn't the default ssid.
Plus if you're connected to the extenders ssid and its giving you that notice, it usually means its connected to the router.
Log into the router and look at its attached device page. If the extender is connected, it should have an ip address on that page. Use that ip address to access it.

Yes. I had it working at my office, then I moved it into my home. I did factory twice.

I am a bit confused. Please give me specific instructions to "log into the router."
Thanks

Not sure what router you have but you can usually access them using a browser interface to change the routers settings.
From within that interference, there tends to be an attached devices page (or equivalent)
without knowing what router you connected it to, its tough to be specific on telling you how to access it but the routers user manual should go over how to access it using a web browser.
