EX6110

Forgive an old man, but I no longer have 4 lights on my extender, only 2, and cannot remember any details about how to remedy the problem, as someone else set it all up for me

Indeed, does it matter?

Or should I get another one instead?

Thanks

Richard

The LEDs are described on page 6 and 7 of the user manual.

    https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/EX6110/EX6110_UM_EN.pdf

The most obvious question is, "are the LEDs correct?"  Do they indicate the actual situation?

    • There is or is not power?
    • The EX6110 is or is not connected to the router?
    • There are or are not devices connected to the EX6110?

If the EX6110 is working correctly and the only problem is missing LEDs, "who cares?"

If it is not working, use the instructions on page 7 to Reset it and configure it using the directions on page 10.

These sell for $30 on Amazon.  Not going to break the bank if it is broken.

Although..... there are newer WiFi extenders that are compatible with newer WiFi routers.  Depending on what this is "extending", there may be better options.
