EX6120 cannot connect to NETGEAR AC1200 Router with no WPS

Have tried all the ways in the manual that came with Extender plus a few more from the internet. Have reached the point of returning if no solution.

    1. what modem/ gateway do you have? 

    2. what router are you connecting to? 

    3. what did you actually try for setup other than wps and where did it fail in the process? Details help more than "i've tried everying plus some"

    4. what firmware is on the router? 

    5. what firmware is on the extender?
