EX6120 Firmware update check never completes

I see. Two of the posts in this thread are now completely unrelated to the topic title now, so I'm unsure what has been achieved here.
Seems that you were able to get the extender working?
- It works, but both issues remain. Firmware check never completes, and the extender only accepts connections on both bands when only one band is connected to the router.
Nevertheless, if I apply firmware manually and utilise FastLane mode, it performs as expected.
