EX6120 not working with dfs channels
Good Morning, I have a ex6120 WiFi extender that I am using as a WiFi bridge, not as a WiFi extender, I have disabled the WiFi capabilities. I am really pleased with the performance of it, getting ...

I downloaded the latest firmware which I believe ends in 48.
My router is registered in the UK region. In the UK you can use the dfs channels if the router is set to automatic channel selection not manual. My router sets the WiFi channel to 104, but the ex6120 does not recognise that WiFi channel. It states that it cannot use the channel due to a radar issue. I am not sure how to check the ex6120 for its region.

I'm not sure about the UK support for dfs in the EX6120. I seen in one of the firmware release notes for FCC dfs support (US dfs) and JP (japan) dfs but didn't see anything on UK.
- maffcoffApr 13, 2020AspirantI have checked I have set the region to Europe on the EX6120
- maffcoffApr 18, 2020AspirantWould I break the device if I set the region to the US? I just wat to see if the device will accept the DFS channels with a different region.

different region have different broadcast restrictions. it isn't going to break it but it could get you in trouble if you leave it long enough. I'd imaging you'd be fine to switch it over briefly to check but I wouldn't leave it.
