EX6120 randomly will not pass dhcp on the 5GHZ network
I purchased this extender almost a year ago. I have kept up with the latest firmware updates. Since purchasing, it has randomly failed to allow clients to connect on the 5GHZ network. Most of the time the error on the device is it cannot get an I/P address. I can change the device to the 2ghz and connect fine then flip it back to the 5ghz and it works. I have both channels set to pull dhcp off of my cable modem. I prefer the 5ghz network for streaming media but am really getting tired of the constant back and forth. I have reset the device and set it back up at least a dozen times. Anyone have any suggestions before I toss this into the trash and find another product?

Try it with a different router? It might not be the extender. The router controls the dhcp and switching from 1 band to the other can potentially request a new ip from the router.
What router are you using?
Firmware on it?
Modem you're using?
