EX6120 range extender does not restart after power outage
When our electrical power experiences an interruption, my cable modem/router (Xfinity) restarts. But my range extender does not reconnect to the network. It finds the network only after being unplug...
It should auto-connect. Mine do.
but it could be a timing issue. If the router isn't booting up quickly enough and the extender times out while searching for the router, maybe that's why its needing the reboot? (never ran into the issue so guessing).
what firmware is on the extender?
did you set it up using wps or using the installation assistant?
got a cheap smart power plug so you could just remotely turn on/off the outlet? (work around method)
