EX6120 suddenly wont connect to wifi

I only use the extender as an ethernet port to my PC which doesn't have wifi capabilities. It was working yesterday but when I went on today I didn't have internet. I tried reconnecting it, at one point it said it needed an update but then I was whisked away from the page and never got it again. I have also factory reset it and moved closer to modem but that didn't help. Two days ago we had a bad storm, but since it worked yesterday I'm assuming it's unrelated. 

Any help would be appreciated as my PC is essentially useless right now. I am also not well versed when it comes to wifi and internet terms so if you want more details you may want to goahead and explain what it is.
