Ex6120 WiFi Extender Connected to Cell Phone Mobile Hotspot - No Internet
We have a vacation home in the mountains where there is no internet provider. So we use a cell phone mobile hotspot for internet. We currently have a TPLink tl-wr802n travel router attached to the mobile hotspot in repeater mode and it works fine, I am using it now.
I purchased a Netgear EX6120 WiFi Extender so we would have a better WiFi signal in the home. I have configured it in extender mode and it attaches fine to the cell phone mobile hotspot. The extenders login page shows its connected to the cell phone fine. The problem is there is no internet connection for any devices attached to it.
Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

I found my problem. The TPLink TL-WR802N travel router has a DHCP Server, so devices attached to it get IP addresses in a new subnet. The TL-WR802N then looks like one device to the cell phone mobile hotspot. The Netgear EX6120 does not have a DHCP Server, and devices attached to it get IP addresses from the cell phone mobile hotspot. My cell phone plan allows unlimited hotspot data but only with one attached device at a time. So my solution is to stay with the TPLink travel router for now.
