EX6120/AC1200 Range Extender will not connect with WPS

I am working with MacOS 10.15.6 and have the Netgear extender near the Frontier Arris router (Verizon FIOS). I have unplug everything and still the WPS won't sync with each other. I have done a reset on the extender. I looked at the support video on Netgears site for setup with and without WPS and since mywifiext can't see the AC1200 it doesn't load anything and I am stuck.

    a couple options and thoughts.

    1. don't use wps. wps doesn't always get coded the same (worse with isp supplied devices) and this can create issues. use the installation asssistant.

    2. you can hardwire into the ex6120 and use the installation assistant. Just disable the wifi on whatever device you connect to it so it doesn't default back to the wifi connection. this tends to go the fastest/smoothest imo.

    3. you put the mywifiext doesn't load anything. Have you tried a different browser or even pc/laptop? Are you able to connect to the extender after the factory reset and attempt setup?

I have used Safari and Firefox and mywifiext will not load either on my Mac computer or my iPad, even after I reset the extender.

        did you hardwire into it?

        or try with a pc/laptop?
