EX6150/AC1200 WiFi range extender - no internet

Try a factory reset and setup from scratch. 

What is the distance between the EX and the main host router? 

What is the mfr and model# of the main host router the EX is connected too?

Hi, thank you for your interest.

 

I have reset from scratch three times.

 

For this work, the EX has been sitting six inches from the host.

 

The host router is a Spectrum Wave 2 wireless router.

    Thats too close, overlap in signal is killing the EX. I would try out at a distance of 20 feet.

      Thank you. 

       

      I moved the EX6150 extender a little over 20 feet away.  Then I reset the EX6150.  I got the same result: Green light on the Mac, but no internet

       

      I appreciate your help.

       

      Any other ideas?
