EX6150v2 Cannot connect with WPS nor Netgear Installation Assistant

Installed and was working fine with modem with WPS button.

Got a new cable modem (Arris TG3452) from Morris Broadband (NC).  Does not have WPS button, therefore cannot connect via WPS.

When I try to connect with installation assistant, the NETGEAR_EXT does not appear in the connection manager, thus I cannot connect with mywifiext.net.

 Is this extender incompatible with this cable modem, or am I missing something?

    JMoerk, 

     

    Factory reset the extender by pressing on the small black button using a pin for 15+ seconds then join the NETGEAR_EXT wifi network using a phone or laptop. After you connect to the NETGEAR_EXT network with your phone or laptop, browse to www.mywifiext.net and follow the setup instructions.
