EX6150v2 Extender in Settings

I think I correctly set up the extender and now I have my router 2 & 5 Plus the extender 2EXT & 5EXT. Do you always have to go to settings on the computer or iPad to select which to use? My printer uses my router 2 and if you reboot a laptop or ipad and it selects to us 2EXT (for example) you have to go to settings and select the original wifi network... Is this correct or should the extender mirror the original home router?

    By default your extender uses different SSIDs from your main network.  You can change this in the web ui (www.mywifiext.net) - just rename them.
