EX6200 extender setup after NBN
I have had the extender working quite well for a few years without any problem. After the NBN installation, then it stopped working. So I attempted to reset the extender to connect with the new Wifi ...

I have followed your instructions to reset the extender, and then followed the Netgear instructions to setup with the Netgear genie. The setup went through as per the instructions with no problem and the extender networks mynetwork_2GEXT and mynetwork_5GEXT were set up. On the extender, the 2.4 GHZ indicator shows steady green, the device to Extender LCD also shows steady green. But when I select mynetwork_2GEXT or mynetwork_5GEXT, I still get No Internet Connection. The message on my iPhone says "if this is your Wi-Fi network, try restarting the modem and the router or contact your ISP". Is it an issue between Optus/NBN network and the extender? Should I contact Optus to get this problem resolved? Thanks.

The firmware is usually listed on the status page of the extender when you're logged into it.
Potentially your optus router is causing the issue. maybe you need to set a static address for the extender for it to work properly.

If its they're router, you could contact them to see about how to set it up. Or check your manual for that router.

It appears that others in yescrowd.optus.com.au are having the same problem connecting the Sagemcom F@ST 3864V3 HP router to the Netgear EX6200 extender. I might pursue this issue through that forum to see if I can get a solution.

Probably a good idea. You can have the best extender in the world but if its connected to a crappy router or a unstable router, its going to perform them same as its performance is based off the router.
