EX6200v2 Which NetGear router works best with this extender?

Which NetGear router works best with the Netgear EX6200v2 ? MyAV repair person says that since I am using a Linksys E1200 router with the NetGear EX6200v2 extender, that the extender would probably operate better with a compatible router made by NetGear.

the router is the backbone of the system. You can always have a better router than than extender. Better to get to good than not good enough.

But thats not saying its going to fix your problem.

Why do you go into full detail of what the problem is. Buying new hardware doesn't always fix the issue if its not a hardware problem.

My AV installer suggested that I look at a NetGear router as opposed to the Linksys router that I now use. That is the only reason I asked about which NetGear router best matches up with the NetGear extender I now have.

to pick out routers, you need more info.

        how big is you home?

what materials is the interior walls?

what are you using it for? (streaming, gaming, etc)

what is your budget? (sadly a factor)

you can go to netgears router page and sort by features that you'd like/want.

I'm a fan of mesh systems but if you're looking at single router solutions, the R7800 has been a pretty rock solid router.
