EX6250 smart connect with 3rd party WiFi router

Hi,

I have a 3rd party Tp-Link Archer C4000 dual band WiFi router which have smart connect feature,

Can I setup or how can I setup the EX6250 smart connect feature with this router?

 

I just purchased EX6250, I have try to set it up smart connect once but could not succeed.

    are you setting up the extender using wps or using the installation assistant?

      I'm using the installation assistant, actually never prefer wps.

        what error does it give you when you're trying to set it up using the assistant? 

        Are you using the dfs channels for 5ghz?
