Bought this used at garage sale. Trying to set it up but cannot. It is registered to previous owner. How can I use this or get it unregistered so I can register and use it

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the WiFi Extender products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with WiFi Extender products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. I'd start with a factory reset. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on.
then follow the install guide.
