EX6400
I just bought the Netgear EX6400 AC1900 Dual Band WiFi Mesh Extender. I have used the WPS button to connect to the home router and all the lights are green. Using Nighthawk app I start the process and get to part 2 (Choose Wifi Network), However I cannot find any network called "NETGEAR__EXT" Can I get some help? Is it named anything else? I have tried four different mobile devices - phones, laptop, etc. No device can locate this network. Thanks.

Its a mesh extender and when you hit the wps button, it sets up in mesh mode.
Mesh means it'll have the same exact ssid as the router and won't show up as separate.
You can leave it in this or disable mesh mode if you want it separate.- MandelkoAspirant
Thank you for your reply. The instruction clearly do not mention any of this. I am quite happy leaving the setup in the "mesh" mode. How am I supposed to know if the extender is working and do I need to use the WSP twice to get both 2.4 and 5 Ghz active.
