My extender was working perfectly until there was a power cut and now the Router Link LED is not lighting. what do I do? Thanks

Thank you for your responses.
Actually the solution turned out to be very simple. Because the problem started after a power cut and obviously my router and extender re-started immediately power resumed, the extender couldn't connect to the router because it was still booting up. before committing to a factory reset I turned off both router and extender, re-started the router and after it was stable switched on the extender and everything worked beautifully.
I hope this might help someone else who experienced problems after a power cut.

Good move.
That's a standard move after an unexpected reboot.
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
Just another user with time on their hands.
