EX6500 and EX7200

I use two Wi-Fi extenders in conjunction with my r9000 router. I'd like to use the access control list on my router. The problem I run into is that whenever a new device or an existing device attaches through one of my extenders it gets blocked because a new Mac address is generated for the attached device by the extender. I've read articles that tell you how to overcome this by attaching all your devices to an extender noting their MAC addresses adding those MAC addresses to the access control list, that is not practical for me. Are there any other workarounds? Thank you.
