Hello AGOODRIC,
1. What is the model number of the drive?
2. Does the drive have it's own power source (power adapter)?
3. Does the drive work when plugged into a computer?
4. What is the format (HFS, HFS+, etc)?
5. Can you test another drive or flash drive with a smaller capacity to see if it works with the extender?

The WD 8TB model is WDBCKA0080HBK-NA
The drive has its own power.
The drive works when plugged directly to the mac, it also works connected to the Router R7000P.
The format is Mac OS Journaled.
I have tested another drive and the EX7000 only shows a small part of it.

Hi AGOODRIC,
Thanks for the information. And to confirm, have you ensured that the extender is on the latest FW and has a factory reset been done?~Christian
