How could I achieve maximum output for the 2.4Ghz band? No matter what I do I am getting 217 Mbps. Should I use a Netgear router to achieve the maximum output speed? Right now I am using a Xfinity R...
I am sorry, I should have said it does not work with 5Ghz, the cameras works only on 2.4Ghz.

The best way to get the full speed is if you can run a ethernet cord from your router to your extender and run it in AP mode.

The best way is to find the best wireless channel for your network to get the best signal also playing with the position of the unit will work as well.
