EX7000 Still a problem in 2019
It is 2019 and it is still at it. The EX7000 Range extender is still having issues after firmware update!!! Even after following all the suggestions and fixes from 2018 and 2015 from all the good peo...

1. what router are you connected to?
2. How much area are you trying to cover?
3. How much wireless interference is there? (how many networks if you do a scan)
4. What housing materials is your house made of? plaster lathe, concrete, brick, foil lined insulation, hvac all do a great job of blocking signals.
5. how long is the connection down for?
6. what speeds are you paying for?
7. What speeds are you getting?
8. Modem you're using?

The extender was working perfectly fine until like the weekend of the 14th of Sept 2019. Below are answers to your questions ...
1. what router are you connected to? NETGEAR AC1900 Cable modem w/ dual band wi-fi
2. How much area are you trying to cover? less than 2000sqft
3. How much wireless interference is there? (how many networks if you do a scan) We have a fully occupied neighborhood so there are about 10 active networks which are constant. Then again it was only until the 14th when I started having the problem.
4. What housing materials is your house made of? plaster lathe, concrete, brick, foil lined insulation, hvac all do a great job of blocking signals. Standard California building materials that has been there the first time I operated the extender and it worked perfectly
5. how long is the connection down for? since the weekend of the 14th of Sept.
6. what speeds are you paying for? 175Mb/s
7. What speeds are you getting? up to 175Mb/s
