EX7000 unable to connect to spectrum modem

I just got a new spectrum modem and router, and am unable to connect my Netgear modem.  It was working with the previous Spectrum modem. I've powercycled the Netgear router.

Power on

Press the WPS button on the router.  LEDs for 2.4, 5M flash

Press the WPS button on the Spectrum router.

Netgear lights continue to flash for 2 minutes, go solid orange and then go out.

No connection established.

Any insight?  The new Spectrum modem has a diffferent network hame, PW than the old one, but I don't see any way to reconfigure that.

(also... althought Netgear indicates that the model number, etc should be printed on the device... mine has no such information on it.)

what spectrum modem do you have?

    What router do you have?

What firmware is on the extender?

did you try setting up the extender using the installation assistant and NOT wps?

I do not understand. What are you trying to connect to what?

Connect your Netgear modem to what?

If you mean the EX7000, you might get better advice in the section where they talk about those extenders.
