Ex7000
I want to reset my ex7000 and then want to connect it to my ac3000 trio band range extender. Can I do so? What step to follow?

You should be able to reset it fairly easily. Here's the instructions.
From reading your post you're wanting to go router-----extender----extender. Is this correct or did you type it wrong?
You can do this but whenever you're adding an extender to an already existing extender, it can create issues. If you go this route, make sure your extenders have their own individual ssid's or you can run into issues.
