Frontier replaced my router today with a new one and I cannot get my Netgear EX7000 to reconnect to the new router. I opened up the settings on the computer and located the SSID, but when I click on...
Try this.
1. factory reset the extender. many just push the button. While its powered on, push and hold the button. Its usually 7-15 seconds but the lights should blink when held long enough.
2. hardwire into the extender via pc/laptop. Whatever device you hardwire in with, disable its wifi so it doesn't default back to the wifi.
3. Then try the setup using the installation wizard.
work/not work? where does it fail in the process?

what firmware is on the extender?
What router is it connecting to?
