EX7300 - Update Downloads are all corrupted
Hi, I have owned an EX7300 for a few years , and used it as an extender. I haven't updated it for a long time. I have been trying to update the firmware, but all of the updates in the Netgear Download Centre for this model appear to be corrupted (I have downloaded them on a Mac and also on a separate Windowes machine). Any solution to this? Thanks!
There's not an opening it up.
You log into the extender and upload that file.

1. you put you have the EX7300. Make sure you're selecting the correct version from the drop down box. There's a difference from V1 to V2
2. Also, many people don't extract the file when they download it. They download and try to upload it without extraction. Make sure to fully extract it. not just opening the zip. In windows its right click on it------>extract all
Thanks for the suggestions Plemans - I'm pretty sure it's a v1. I have fully extracted from the zip, but when I then attempt to open it, it's still coming up as corrupted. Any other suggestions? Perhaps there is a particular prog I should be using to try and opn it with?

I hadn't appreciated that the download was designed to go directly to the router rather than be opened on my computer first (I'm not very good with IT...)
