EX7300 Unidentifed Network/No Internet message.
Almost every time connect to the Nighthawk X4 AC2200 EX7300 Extender it connects but not to the internet. A yellow triangle with ! appears on the wireless connection icon and the Network and Sharing Center shows the active network as Unidentified Public Network. Only device connecting to the extender is a laptop running Windows 10. Occurs on both bands. 30 August 2016 I successfully loaded the latest firmware. The laptop connects over wireless to the router without issue if the extender is power off. Reset to factory defaults, reinstalled the extender with no improvement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you need to tell your devices to forget the extender network if its set to public you need to set it to home so you will not have the yellow triangle.
