EX7500 WIFI ranger extender

I currently have a Netgear WIFI router model 3700v2 and I'd like to extend its range in my house. Will the Netgear EX7500 AC2200 Nighthawk X4S Tri Band WiFi Mesh Extander work with this router? If so, are there any tricks I need to know to get the two items to work well together? Thanks
