ex7700 connection to wrong access point EX800
I have 2 access points of EX8000 and 1 extender EX7700. With WPA I can connect the extender to the closest AP, but after a reboot it connects to the AP thats most far away. I only use the 5Ghz channels. How can I tell the EX7700 to connect to the AP I want?

That's the reason I don't recommend using more than 1 mesh extender. When you're needing more than 1, I usually advise to move to a full mesh like Orbi or MK nighthawk.
When you're running into the issue of them connecting to the wrong device, I usually advise people to turn off the mesh feature and set the extenders with their own ssid. That way they're not connecting to each other.
